Here he is showing off for us by lifting up the two four litre juice jugs. Unfortunately I missed the would be fourth shot in the sequence where he collapsed under the weight of the jugs and sent them flying across the kitchen on his way to the floor.

Mighty Machines

Owen re-lives some moments from his favorite TV show Mighty Machines at the recent Construction Aggregates open house in Sechelt. Grandpa took him to the open house for three hours of climbing on machines and riding on buses.

Trip to the Aquariam

We took a day trip into the city on Saturday to go to the Aquariam. Owen quite liked it, particularly watching the turtle swim by over his head and the smiling Manta Ray. We were regular old Vancouver tourists catching the bus to the park and going for lunch at the Whitespot.

'Country Kids'

I love this picture of Owen and Sedona they look like a couple of prairie frontier settlers (minus the shiny yellow tonka truck of course!). A timeless classic of our Canadian heritage.

Virgin Latte

We were drinking fancy coffees on Sunday morning and Owen was feeling a little left out so we set him up with a virgin latte.

"Oh Daddy!"

Owen and I were in Vernon for a week and every time Owen saw a black truck he would say "Ooooohhhhh Daddy!" When we got back home they played like old friends for hours in the backyard. I sat back and enjoyed the entertainment.

We went to Maplewood Farms petting zoo in North Vancouver on the weekend. Owen was a little uncertain about the whole experience except for this one goat that he struck up a friendship with.
