Movie Night

Ann borrowed a projector from school and I 'borrowed' some files from the internet and we watched some movies on the wall this weekend. The projector itself was equally as interesting to Owen as the image on the wall.

Seamus and Shannon's Wedding

Owen had a ball being the ring bearer at 'Moo & Shan-Shan's' wedding. The highlight for the crowd was the attempted pee on the side of the alter as the rings were being exchanged.

Who Needs a Bathing Suit?

He did in fact wade up to his arm pits shortly after this picture was taken. This was the first outfit, the second outfit was sacrificed after he tried to swim in a mud puddle at the Gibsons Farmers Market, after which we drive home in his 3rd and final outfit; the Birthday Suit.

First Science Experiment

It was a very rainy day today and we needed to be outside. Owen wanted to find a river on the side of the road to float leaf boats down. Nothing was fast enough so we made our own river. Using kayak racks, the hose and daddy's fishing kit we made our own rushing river. Little engineer.

New Skills

Owen must have grown again. He is now tall enough to get up on the counter without me around. I found him taking one little nibble from each of my tarts.

For all of you that have had the pleasure of talking to Owen on the phone, this is what he looks like from our end. Laid back!

Neigh Pony

We lured Owen to Sea Cavalcade with a promise of pony rides. As soon as we walked into the fair he looked around and said "there is supposed to be ponies here!" Luckily there were so we waited in line for 30 minutes with Grampa Geo. Owen did so well on the pony, even going sans hands for a bit.

Family 'mini-break' in Whistler

We just got back from a Whistler weekend of biking and sightseeing. The Gondola ride was a huge hit with Owen.

We spent Saturday afternoon kayaking in the beautiful sun. Owen wants us to buy another kayak, maybe we will have to submit.
