First steps.

This photo was taken as Theo took his first steps. Happy? I think so.

Merry Christmas

Some folks up the road put on a huge light display every year for charity (or perhaps to recoup their hydro bill!).

The New Truck

We bought ourselves a new 4x4 Tracker this weekend so we can get up into the snow this winter. Ann and I want to call it the Chuck Wagon, because we bought it off a co-worker named Chuck. Owen however is adamant that the truck should be called Christmas Snow, he must be a closet Three's a Company fan. Last night he conceded that Chuck Wagon could be the middle name as long as the first name is Christmas Snow.

Owen teaches Theo to colour.

Owen is trying to teach Theo to colour. However, he was doing it with a cookie in his mouth. Theo wacked the cookie out before the lesson was over. Owen tells him to "concentrate me."

Powerman and Electricityman

Halloween 2009 brought out the super powers in our house. Owen made up his own characters and it was moms job to make the costumes.

Here our our superheroes!!!

Then Owen traded half of his candy in for a Power Ranger. He didn't know that we gleaned his real bag to 90% less than he actually scored.

The Haunted House.

This may have been the hardest I have ever laughed.

I took the boys to a haunted house. The black mask cackled and its eyes googled when Owen walked past. He jumped about 5 feet and spun around mid air. He did not know what to make of it. After 30 minutes of getting to know the mask he finally got up the nerve to look into the house, but would definitely not go in. The third picture is him making spooky noises that he was hearing from inside.

I love Halloween!!!!

Big Furs Park

We took a little trip to the Big Furs Park today. Its on the usual mountain bike circuit so I see it frequently but it was the first time Ann had been up there. There are two or three huge trees and several larger than usual ones. A special park.
